The Student Government Association Progress Committee is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and executing programs (big or small) to help improve student life on campus. While the committee is chaired by the Director of Student Services and other officials of the SGA, anyone is welcomed to join.
Throughout the semester, members of the Progress Committee are assigned projects to research and execute. Depending on the project, the turn-around time can range between weeks to even semesters. There is a lot of work done behind the scenes with University administration, vendors, contract negotiations, and logistics.
