Student Organization Funding

Let the Student Government Association help fund your organization!

One of the responsibilities of the Student Treasury is to properly distribute the money allocated for registered student organizations (RSOs) on campus. The Student Treasury votes and determines whether or not funding requests for different RSOs are approved. Requests can either be accepted in full, accepted with some reservations, or declined. When deciding the status of a funding request, Student Treasury members look at a variety of criteria to make an unbiased and fair decision.

Organization presidents and treasurers are encouraged to review the rules and requirements for submitting funding requests, as well as the process for submitting budget packets. All required documents, including the budget packet, can be found to the right.

For questions or concerns about your organization’s finances, please contact your Student Treasury liaison or stop in the SGA Office.

Important Dates

  • Budget Requests Due – January 29th @ 5pm

  • Allocations – January 30 to February 9

  • Capital Expenditures Open – March 18 @ 8 am

  • Payment Request Training – March 16-20

  • Reallocations & Extensions – April 8 by 5 pm

  • Payment Requests – April 22 by 5 pm
